Decisive Technology is focusing on building a retail community within the Avalanche Corporate Technology Cooperative; identifying and coordinating retail members’ software needs and software contributions.

In establishing a retail community within the Avalanche Cooperative, Decisive Technology will help retailers develop and use a robust set of re-useable intellectual property that meets the needs of a retail business. In focusing on the retail community, Decisive Technology will classify cooperative assets according to retail business processes and functions.
Participation
Retailers who are considering membership in the Avalanche Cooperative can take part in the Decisive Technology's Retail Community Forum. The forum allows retailers to describe their needs and to identify IP that they may be willing to contribute.
Retailers who become Avalanche Cooperative members will pay an annual fee to join and gain access to the Repository. The membership fee entitles the Corporate Member to:
- Receive a perpetual, royalty free enterprise-wide license to download intellectual property
- Access research & publications
- Participate in collaborative forums & events
- Participate on joint projects to develop intellectual property in cooperation with other members
